She had been a resident of Barberton and the Akron area for most of her life. Mrs. Richards was a member of the Lakeview United Methodist Church of Barberton, and a former member of the Barberton Womens Club. She is survived by her husband, Ervin W. of Boca Raton, daughter and son-in-law, Daun and Paul Smith; grandchildren, Graig and Tod Smith, and Carla Earley; great-granddaughter, Heather Smith, all of Akron; brother, Edgar Daugherty Naples, and sister, Maxine Wiggers of Waco, Texas.

Stewart retired in 1972 after 25 years service with the Goodyear Tire Rubber Co. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, born in Hebron, W. most of his life in the Akron area. He was a member of the North Hill United Methodist Church.

Prior to working with Goodyear Mr. Stewart was a member of the Auxiliary Military Police serving with the Mounted Patrol at the Ravenna Arsenal. He is survived by his wife, Mary daughters and son-in-law, Alice Ann and Richard Hawk, and Stella Wilkinson, both of Akron; son, Ivan W. Stewart Jr. Draper, Utah; brothers, Harry, Franklin, Eugene, and Dean Stewart, all of Michigan; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Kurt Herman Stuecher Kurt Herman Stuecher, 74, died Oct. 17 at Akron General Medical Center following a long illness. He was ber of Redeemer Lutheran Church and the St.

Vincent Group, and recently retired as treasurer of the Founders Foundation. A 1934 graduate of Central High School, he was president of his senior class, cheerleader and gymnastics coach. He attended the University of Akron. Kurt was employed for 14 years at the Ohio Edison and retired in 1981 after 28 years service at the Firestone Tire Rubber Co. Until last year, he served as captain of the Firestone Bowling League.

During World War I1 he was a member of the Goodyear Squadron, and had held membership at the Jednota Club. Kurt is survived by his wife, June of the residence; daughters, Dorrie Ruttman Pullman, and Ruth (Glenn) Wiley of Akron; sons, Kurt Roger (Linda) of Oklahoma City, Richard of Houston; Texas, Ronald (Paula) of Fairlawn; special friend, Danny Abood; grandson, Cary; stepdaughters, Patrica Boccia of LaFollette, Priscilla (Dennis) Campana of Akron, Peggy (Jim) Ruthven of Cincinnati, Penny (Scott) Evans of N. Ridgeville; 17 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; two granddaughters; sisters, Ruth Wendt Atlanta, and Hannah Klein of Arlington Heights, brother, Warner of E. Detroit, Mich. Cooking Sewing 4H Club, a 1956 Malvern High School graduate, and a 1960 graduate of Kent State University.
